Telenova team building in Sofia: Emotions and pretense

Team building at Telenova is an initiative, which has always aimed to take the team out of its comfort zone and create memories, which remain long after the end of the working day. In our column "Moments from the archive" today we move to the date 25 November 2022 year. This day was no ordinary Friday, and time for adrenaline, concentration and a little healthy competition of Gerena shooting range in Sofia.

For the Telenova team, which operates daily in the field of precision communications, the choice of a shooting range for a team building location was quite natural. Our work requires an accurate sight in the projects, composure in solving technical cases and perfect coordination - qualities, which are critically important in sports shooting as well. The combination of focus on detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure are at the core of our company culture.

Team building at Telenova: First steps on the firing line

The event brought together nine enthusiasts from the team, ready to test their accuracy. The event began with a detailed briefing on safety and proper handling of the weapon, led by the professional instructors of the Gerena complex. Safety has always been a top priority for Telenova, whether it is a complex installation of telecommunications equipment or shared company entertainment.

The program was structured in two main stages, so that each participant can develop their potential and feel confident with the weapon in hand. In the first part, everyone was given an individual target and po 10 practice shots. This phase was key – here the colleagues were able to feel the weight of the gun, the specifics of the recoil and to calibrate their own sight. There was a mixture of slight tension and much laughter in the air, as the first holes began to appear in the paper targets, and the instructors gave valuable advice on posture and breathing.

Telenova team building and the great accuracy competition

After the gunpowder smoke from the drill cleared, it was time for the real part - the official competition to determine the "best shooter" of Telenova. Each of the nine colleagues received a new one, "clean" target and new ones 10 cartridge. This time the silence in the hall was more palpable, and the focus is maximum. Every shot was carefully calculated, because at the end, an official ranking and well-deserved awards awaited us.

The most exciting and fun moment of the day came when the points were counted. It turned out, that there are hidden talents in the Telenova team, which we had not even suspected. The big surprise came from the top of the table, where a real family drama unfolded.

The first place was won by Cezzo, who showed an iron hand and an extremely accurate aim. Right after him, only on one point difference, his partner qualified – And the. This "family battle" for gold became a major topic of conversation and friendly banter, proving, that competition in our team is always good-natured, inspiring and highly contested. The honorable third place was taken by our then accountant Stefan, which proved to all, that his skill with precise numbers is directly proportional to his accuracy with a weapon in hand.

For his excellence, the three finalists – Tsetso, Zhanna and Stefan – were officially honored. Besides the certificates of honor for high sportsmanship, they also got special medals, to remind them of this success. These honors became a symbol of the fact, that at Telenova we value excellence in every field.

Team building at Telenova: Festive finale at the Bar & Dinner Luck

After the emotions from the shooting range died down and the medals were handed out, the team headed to the second part of our Friday program - a well-deserved dinner at Bar & Dinner Luck . In the cozy and modern atmosphere of the restaurant, the adrenaline of the competition gave way to shared stories, the delicious food and the true relaxation.

Dinner at Suerte was the moment, in which we were able to take off the "work masks" and just enjoy each other's company as friends. It is these moments of informal gathering that are the backbone of Telenova. We believe, that a team is truly strong not only when it works successfully on projects, but also when he can share the joy of victories and create shared memories outside the confines of the office.

Why this Telenova team building is important for us?

Although the event took place at the end of 2022 year, its positive effect is felt in our teamwork to this day. The cohesion, which we built on the range and during dinner, helps us be more efficient, more communicative and braver in everyday challenges.
