BAS modernized its communications with Telenova OOD

Telenova Ltd successfully completed a large-scale and technologically complex project on the complete upgrade and modernization of the telephone infrastructure of The Institute for Economic Research (III) to the BAS. This strategic move not only strengthens the long-standing partnership between the two organizations, but also serves as a benchmark for how a leading scientific institution can transition to modern communication standards, while intelligently storing investments made over the years.

Historical context and need for change

The Institute for Economic Research at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is a fundamental center for scientific activity in the field of economics in Bulgaria. More than two decades ago, the team of Telenogue supplied and installed the highly reliable Mitel telephone exchange for its time 6501.
